What is my Rhythm? Part 3

In this last blog post of the series I will share a simple meditation that you can use to help you with this process of listening in..

Women are changing and making choices that seem to nurture their needs first rather than the needs of the whole as they did before. If they are struggling with the guilt that years of societies conditioning has instilled that, "this is selfish" this to is beginning to shift. After all when you lexigram the word selfish,it really spells SELF IS. Women are understanding that this very necessary shift is important, not only for us but to teach it to our daughters too.

Men are changing too, it seems that they are listening to their intuition much more strongly and clearly then they did before. Their old conditioning taught them to listen mostly to the masculine logical side of themselves. Now they are becoming less afraid of embracing their feminine half, this is where our intuition is born. They are finding that when they tune in and listen more carefully to their bodies, their bodies are providing them with clearer answers on how to make decisions aligned to their own beliefs. This change is strengthening their self- esteems and altering their relationships with themselves and with others.

Listening to your body evokes deeper fears that underlie the emotions that you think you are feeling. Often what we feel is only the surface. The deeper fears are what we need to look at and we can address them with the exercise given below. Should you like to explore this in greater depth then there are different ways in which you can listen to your body - have you thought about using crystals, color therapy, quantum energetix or regression therapy?

Meditation:

Here is a simple way to listen to your body. Sit or lie down somewhere that is comfortable for you and close your eyes and allow your breath to be deep yet even. Now ask yourself the question, what is my body telling me? Allow all the thoughts to come and go to filter out the positive and negative statements until it settles on a thought or feeling that feels good or comfortable. Then ask that thought are you what I feel? Acknowledge it and simply let it be in your body. As you ask this question many times through all the different things you feel and think you will find that your body wants to ask deeper questions of you and you will listen with more intention, paying attention to what your body is telling you. When you feel you have asked all that you can for today then simply open your eyes. Practice this exercise as often as you need to. You will find that the questions you ask will get deeper and deeper.

Remember, in order to make others happy you have to first make sure that you are happy. If you are not feeling recharged and listening to your body then when you try to listen to the needs of others it might leave you feeling any number of feelings maybe even resentful, angry, used or hurt.

The awakening you are feeling has the power to change your life into more of what you want, so why not use your power to do exactly that?

“As I began to love myself I recognized that my mind can disturb me and it can make me sick. But as I connected it to my heart, my mind became a valuable ally. Today I call this connection “WISDOM OF THE HEART”.
